Our quality requirements are your assurance
Plant and animal
Animal husbandry that is appropriate to the species, respects the animal as a being, and treats nature with consideration are basic principles of organic agriculture.
These ideas manifest in stabling appropriate to the animal, giving freedom of movement, access to fresh air and respectful concern. Additives and prophylactic veterinary remedies such as antibiotics or hormones are taboo.
The soil is conceived of as an organism. As part of a crop rotation stretching over a number of years, and careful arable practices, crops can be harvested without the use of pesticides and artificial fertilisers.
Organic agriculture is active environmental protection. It protects fresh water, soil and climate, avoids chemical residues in the soil and food, and doesn’t exploit raw material resources.
